Narasimha can give us energy that have to do with protection, beauty, prosperity. Again all the Archetypes have different qualities about them. He is a demon- destroyer. He will destroy the negativity in your life, around you within you and negativity also comes in the form of Karmas. Karmas are our past thoughts and actions that have manifested into current thoughts, current actions, current life situations.
So this being, I have two pictures behind me of him. So ways to connect with him is to get to know first. Read about his stories, there is many of them. Look at his pictures, his imagery, his symbolism- all represent something different about each beings, specifically, usually they have weapons. It’s what they look like. They sometimes have animal features. They also have things they sit on, ride on, and beings of the nature. So particular meaning, you can study that.
Another way is to know their mantra, know their name. Call on them, to know their name, to bring them towards you. Then you would want to know about their times, their power times, when is the good time to access them.
You don’t have to spend all day trying to call. So that’s the idea of a power time and why it’s useful for us because it makes things more efficient, doing the right thing at the right time, when it’s going to have the most impact.
First of all you want to know his form. I have a little statue of him here, this is the one way to connect with him is to get yourself one of these guys. It’s tiny. It’s like one and a half or so and it is Narasimha with Lakshmi on his lap, Lakshmi-Narasimha and this represents Narasimha who is in a form that is calm because he has his consort. Lakshmi is keeping him cool. Otherwise he is pretty fierce. You see this picture on that side, he is reaping the guts out of a demon. So he comes in several forms. Just like most of us. But in this form he is calm and he brings prosperity to the world with his consort Lakshmi who brings us wealth. That’s a Shreem Brzee Goddess.
So he can protect you as well because if you look at his form, you will see he has many arms with many weapons. He has got a lion face, so he is very fierce. He can remove the negativity, remove the Karma we talked about and create this protective shield around you.
So protection, he also can give you prosperity, as I mentioned his consort is Lakshmi, the Shreem Brzee Goddess, who gives us wealth, abundance, joy.
And another feature of his, very unique, is he can create beauty. He literally consumes lack of beauty and Dr.Pillai calls it ‘ugliness’ where consuming the things that are not in symmetry, not in alignment, not in beauty, whether they are internal or external and then he in turns gives us that beauty.
You have one of these statues or have a mala which I am also wearing. This is a wonderful, amazing mala. This is black tourmaline or black onyx one of those, and this is a protection stone and on top of that you get this beautiful 5 metal face of Narasimha. You can then put the pictures out. Here is a secret technique Dr.Pillai taught many years ago. You put one of these objects that represent him on a table or a chair or something and then you walk around it clockwise direction chanting his name ‘Om Narasimhaye Namaha’ or just Narasimha, Narasimha and walking around and pray. That’s one technique.
Another technique is to call upon him during certain power times. These power times are during 13th Moons. But 13th Moon because he is a Karma removal Archetype, it’s a great time to call his name to do any sort of practice towards him and ask for him to remove your negativity, to remove your bad karma and then everyday at Twilight.
